Kasui-en offers 12 luxurious guestrooms, ranging from 52 to 100 sqm. in size. Each guestroom features a bathroom with a hot tub fed by a natural volcanic spring originating 1,000 meters underground. Rooms are appointed with modern amenities that honor traditional Sukiya aesthetics – low Japanese-style sofas and beds, Murano wall lamps with three-dimensional “washi” paper, Solomon’s Knot-patterned night lights and detailed “shitaji-mado” windows woven with steel rods. In the spirit of true Japanese hospitality and to ensure an authentic stay experience, a dedicated “landlady” looks after guests staying in Kasui-en. The landlady ensures guests’ every comfort, from arranging meals to providing tea, flowers and sightseeing information.
Kasui-en guests can use the amenities of the Westin Club Lounge.
As for the concept of the guest rooms, not only introducing a wooden atmosphere into the floors and a part of wall materials inspired by the nature of Kyoto Higashiyama, but also the softly shining champagne gold color in the metal parts of the furniture, which produces a design of modern taste mixed with an atmosphere of nature, will be arranged.
Junior Suite 2 double beds on the 6th floor was renovated in February 2019,and Junior Suite 1 king bed will be opened in December 2019.

Luxury Suite Heian-kyo View 2 double beds on 8th floor were renovated in February 2019, and Luxury Suite Heian-kyo View 1 king bed will be opened in December 2019.
