Tenjinbashisuji Shopping Street

Tenjinbashisuji Shopping Street is the longest shopping street in Japan, with a total length of approximately 2.6 km. There are about 600 shops lined up, from shops that are perfect for eating while walking, all the way to bargain clothing stores, “typical” Osaka variety stores, and izakayas (Japanese-style bar).

Amerikamura

A unique district that is the most vibrant in Minami (South), Osaka, and that leads the youth culture of Kansai. Located to the west of Osaka Metro Shinsaibashi Station, the whole area stretching from Nagahori-dori all the way to Dotonbori is known as Amerikamura.

Kuromon Ichiba (Market)

An extensive market that sells street food, fresh food items, seafood, souvenirs, and many more. Its center is located one street to the east of Sakaisuji, and it is deployed to the south of Sennichimae-dori.

Shin Umeda City

TEN-SHIBA

Shitennō-ji

Shitennō-ji is said to be one of the seven main temples erected by Prince Shōtoku. According to the Nihon-shoki (The Chronicles of Japan), its construction began during the first year of Empress Suiko’s reign. This temple is located in Tennoji-ku, Osaka.

Osaka Castle Park

Expo ’70 Commemorative Park

This cultural park was built on the site of the Japan World Exposition (“Osaka Banpaku”). It is surrounded by lush greenery and combines cultural, sports, and leisure facilities. With the “Tower of the Sun” as the center, other attractions such as the Natural and Cultural Gardens, the Japanese Garden, and the National Museum of Ethnology are also present.

Tennoji Zoo

The zoo is located inside Tennoji Park. This zoo has the third-longest history out of all zoos in Japan. About 180 species (or about 1,000 animals) are being raised in the approximately 11-hectare park.

Shinsaibashi

Shinsaibashi-Suji Shopping Street is a shopping arcade located in Chuo-ku, Osaka City. There are approximately 180 shops that sell clothes, food, drinks, and so on. About 60,000 people visit on weekdays while about 120,000 visit on Sundays and public holidays.

Dotonbori

Dotonbori is the representative downtown area of Minami (South), Osaka. You can enjoy eating, shopping, looking for souvenirs, watching theater, and many more, both day and night.

Aquarium (Kaiyukan)
